Hugues (“Hugh”) Gibeault is the Chairman and co-founder of Optimé. Along with his partners, Hugues leads the overall management of the company and its future strategic direction. Under his leadership over the past 25 years, Optimé has helped clients achieve consistently superior performance and business results, along with industry-leading levels of employee engagement. A notable highlight has been Optimé’s partnership with a Fortune 100 company division that achieved and was recognized as the #1 operating unit in the world for two consecutive years. 



Hugues is known for developing lasting relationships and working very closely with sales and company leaders. Prior to co-founding Optimé, Hugues had established a proven track record of strong business results as Vice President of a professional sports franchise and with the International Paralympic Committee. He started his career in sales and customer management with Procter & Gamble in Eastern Canada.

Hugues served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) for 6 years, and was responsible for the Revenue Generation portfolio. He continues to serve on the CPC’s Advisory Council. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B Comm. SPAD) from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
